Hispanic Community Partnership Program

Adelphi University’s Summer College Readiness Program

Designed to expose Hispanic high school students to college life while gaining the know-how, skills, resources, and confidence to pursue a college degree.

This program is an exciting way to gain college experience while giving you the opportunity to learn about Adelphi and meet with current students, faculty and staff.

To participate in this program, a student must be of Hispanic background, a rising senior, in good academic standing and demonstrate qualities of potential and promise.

Self-nominations are welcomed. 

Nominations Open Wednesday, April 1, 2020.

Deadline for all nominations is Friday, May 15, 2020.
This program is free of charge for all student participants. We will be accepting 20 students for this year’s program.

  • Science, Math, Technology Advancement
  • Navigating the College Application Process
  • The Importance of Mentoring
  • Financial Literacy for Higher Education

Real College Experience

Participants will have the opportunity to stay in one of our residence halls.

Cultural Event Trip to NYC

The Museum of the City of New York is a history and art museum in New York City. It is across from Central Park in the Upper East Side of Manhattan. The museum celebrates and interprets the city, educating the public about its distinctive character, especially its heritage of diversity, opportunity and perpetual transformation.
